I know it's not great because I made it in a hurry, but a few tweaks and it should perform to much better standards. For example, you would know that the damage is not split evenly between Chaos and Vitality like you said, because weapon damage % plays a huge role. Pair with the grimtools in question ( ) and you should have a pretty decent idea of how well it performs. Hows a DPS sheet number misleading? It's the rawest single bit of information you could give to someone. And you called it the best known Deceiver build. I don't even need to try this to know it turns into utter dogshit if you throw it into SR76, even using the camera/aggro exploit. People may not care about crucible much but it's still a useful metric to compare builds.īut the example you brought up is precisely the kind of build that would only perform well in Crucible mode because it is obviously made with crucible buff and auras in mind. I think it's very dishonest to call bringing up crucible performance as being deceitful simply because not everyone plays it, while at the same time implying that sheet dps is a decent metric and pretending that your experience of "reliably" clearing a non high-end content to be anything but subjective opinion. your voidsoul is forced into two damage type, Chaos and vitality, and I bet you're not stacking high vitality RR so it ends up being a throw away damage type, same for that vitality decay that just bloats your dps. Sheet dps numbers isn't really an evaluation of build's performance, it's an evaluation of a single skill damage output without anything else. You want to impress someone you bring SR90+ to the table. Few people I know typically brag about SR depth instead, and they consider 75-76 a joke that even some meme builds are able to achieve. A more clear metric would involve speed, average number of deaths and success rate, but usually people don't bother with that in SR and I'm ok with that. Crucible performance doesn't directly translate into SR performance but usually a well performing crucible build can clear SR75 too due to sheer damage.Ĭlearing SR75 reliably on the other hand isn't much of a useful metric, because a) its binary and b) reliable is a vague word. People may not care about crucible much but it's still a useful metric to compare builds. Released in 2016, it currently has two expansions: Ashes of Malmouth and Forgotten Gods.
